Meet Carrie Cogley, APRN
Hi I’m Carrie Cogley, thank you for visiting! I can’t wait to meet you in person.
I am a certified women’s health nurse practitioner. I earned my masters degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2006. Before becoming a NP I worked in labor and delivery for ten years. My experience at the bedside has had a great impact on my professional career. I have learned so much over the years as a nurse, as a practitioner, and as a patient myself. Through these years I have found myself saying, “there has to be a better way to provide medical care." I said it as a nurse, as a NP, and as a patient myself! I have finally found the resources to support a different approach to medical care.
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to provide a caring and peaceful environment for my patients. Primrose Women’s Health is located at THE WELL in Kettering. So often women are busy taking care of other people. Please take the time to care for yourself and your health. Take time to “fill your cup” so you are better for those you love and have more to give. Your health is just as important as the health of your kids, mom, brother, aunt, grandma, dog, etc. Come see me and then have a massage after to treat yourself! If you’re nervous, have an aromatherapy session before seeing me! So often in medicine we slap a bandaid on the issue because we don’t have time to find the root of the problem. I hope to help you to be healthy in mind, body and spirit.
I focus on providing women's wellness care. This includes yearly check ups, sexual health, pelvic pain, contraception, abnormal bleeding, fertility, urinary concerns, menopause management, vaginal health, etc. I have worked with women of various ages from newborns to elderly. I feel that working in medicine we are always learning. I love working with my patients and colleagues to help provide the best individualized care for you.
