Hi, I’m Carrie Cogley, thank you for visiting!
I can’t wait to meet you in person.
A little about me: I am a certified women’s health nurse practitioner and earned my masters degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2006. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I worked in labor and delivery for ten years and that experience, along with everything else I have learned as a nurse, a practitioner, and a patient myself left me thinking, "There has to be a better way to provide healthcare." Well, there is! I have finally found the resources to create a slower, more supportive, truly patient-driven healthcare experience.
​​​​​​I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to provide this experience in a caring and peaceful environment at The Well in Kettering, Ohio. All the practitioners at The Well focus on holistic care of women—it’s our passion and I think you will feel it as soon as you step through the pink door.
So often, we as women are busy taking care of other people... It's hard to make time for ourselves. But we always say at The Well, "We have to “fill our own cups” so we can be even better for those we love and have more to give. Your health is just as important as the health of your kids, mom, brother, aunt, grandma, dog, etc. Come see me and then have a massage after to treat yourself! If you’re nervous, have a cup of tea in our welcoming kitchen/waiting area before your session with me! So often in medicine we slap a bandaid on the issue because we don’t have time to find the root of the problem. My goal is to take the time needed to help you be healthy in mind, body and spirit. ​My focus is women's wellness care which includes yearly check ups, sexual health, pelvic pain, contraception, abnormal bleeding, fertility, urinary concerns, menopause care, hormonal wellness, vaginal health, etc. Women of all ages from newborns to elderly deserve a better option—and I love providing it!
